OBJECTIVE:
To be a successful within an aggressive a dynamic organization. One in
which will allow me to continue to be challenged to excel in the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Hands on and supervisory experience. UL and CSA compliance testing
experience. Experience with shipping and receiving. Understands parts
systems as well as stocking. Knowledge of vertical mill and punch press
setups. AC and DC circuits and components, soldering, familiarity with
instruments and testers, knowledge of power supplies, DMM's and various lab
test equipment: Hands-on experience with digital and analog circuitry, and
ability to read and understand complex. Use of measuring instruments such
as calipers and micrometers. Knowledge of upgrading and maintaining
computers. Experienced with Excel and Word programs.
EMPLOYMENT:
May 2000 - January 2010: Cableco Technologies Corporation, San Jose, CA.
From May to October I worked as a QA inspector. My duties included the
final inspection and verification of all products built. In October of
2000 I was offered a job as a Junior Electrical Engineer. My
responsibilities included performing and documenting test data for
engineering and sales, interfacing with customers and sales. I helped in
the development of prototype assemblies, interfacing with manufacturing to
facilitate building of prototypes and samples. Work with plant maintenance
personnel to repair and or specify equipment. In February of 2000 I was
also given the job of QA Manager. My duties included supervising the
testing and final QA departments, which totaled twelve employees;
interfacing with manufacturing to meet required scheduled shipment dates.
In charge of making sure that all products built meet the required
specification required by the customer. In April of 2002 I was given the
responsibility of overseeing the fabrication department, as well. In 2005
I assisted in relocating and starting up production in Mexico, where I lead
a full production team until my relocation back to California.
February 2000 - May 2000: Volt Services. Quality inspector for Cableco
November 1999 - February 2000: Oakdale Brewing Company. Oakdale, CA. Line
cook. Opened up in the morning, prepared all needed food for the day.
December 1996 - November 1999: Dennys. Oakdale, CA. Line cook. Lead swing
cook responsible for all needed prep for the day.
EDUCATION:
ITT Technical Institute 1998-2000: Completed Associates of Science Degree,
Electronics Engineering Technology requirements in November 2000. (108
academic quarter credits)
Oakdale High School 1993-1997: Graduated in May of 1997 completed general
education requirements.
