Distribution Supervisor
Supervise and manage second shift distribution and
shipping/receiving operations consisting of
approximately 100 team members in a JIT, radio
frequency barcode shipping and receiving,
production pull and cross dock operation supporting
80 Meijer's Supercenters. The facility is one
million sq ft with eight miles of conveyors with
product ranging from general merchandise to grocery
products. Some of the duties and responsibilities
include: Pre-shift manning and scheduling of hourly
team members, providing direction to members and
engaging them to complete work assignments,
responsible for customer service, building
sanitation, inventory control, productivity, safety
and upholding company policies and goals.

Warehouse/Production Supervisor
Supervise, coordinate and oversee all warehouse and
production operations on second shift. Some of the
duties and responsibilities include; process daily
activities of receiving, loading, unloading,
inventory transfer, order filling, shipping, and
maintaining stock in the warehouse to name a few. I
was also responsible for huddle and safety
meetings, cycle counting and process implementation
and improvement. This position also allowed me to
become very familiar with fiberglass compression
molding, steel stamping and assembly techniques
used in residential and commercial door

Shift/Area Manager
Shift Manager for a 2 million sq ft automotive
sub-assembly, warehouse distribution and
transportation facility, supporting three local G.M
Lansing Assembly Plants. I assisted in the launch
for this facility and managed its sub-assembly,
sequencing, production, distribution and
shipping/receiving operations to support a (JIT)
Just In Time delivery system of approx 300 daily
inbound and outbound truckloads to the customer.
Responsible for the training and direction of
department supervisors and UAW employees; Direct
customer interaction to address needs; Adhering to
manpower budgets; Identifying waste and offering
solid long term solutions; Problem solving and
corrective action to resolve, monitor and maintain
a safe and clean operation. Other duties of this
position included: implementing solid process
management and ensuring total customer satisfaction
through flawless execution and adherence to
pre-established customer critical success factors,
management of all areas of transportation to
include safety, DOT regulations, profit and loss
responsibility and customer service. Conduct and
oversee all department safety and process audit
compliance. Responsible for manning appropriately
to support production requirements and meet
budgeted overtime. Schedule and conduct
cross-functional operation and safety meetings.
2001-2005 Comprehensive Logistics

Operations Manager
Comprehensive Logistics was the Lead Logistics
Provider for General Motors. I managed the
Sub-Assembly Production, Parts Processing,
Container Management and Driver Dispatch
Departments. This position required me to oversee
50 warehouse personnel, 30 drivers, 2 supervisors
and 3 clerks, in a union environment. Some of my
responsibilities include: Supervise/train union
employees. Assign daily work assignments to hourly
employees. Keep proper documentation and records.
Enforce company policies/procedures and
corresponding work instructions and being
responsible for continuous improvement. . Lean
Manufacturing, 7 Types of Waste, Kaizen, 5s and
KanBan techniques and practices are all areas I am
familiar with and have used to improve processes
and procedures while in this position.

Supervised forge plant, steel stamping and CNC
departments in the production and manufacturing of
medical implants, aerospace and automotive
components that were primarily made from titanium,
steel and aluminum. I also conducted the training
on such equipment as: presses, saws, C.N.C Mills,
trimmer's, grinders, die making procedures and
chemical acid etch. There were approximately 30
employees on the shift and I was responsible for;
meeting production expectations; managing payroll
budgets and training of hourly team members;
