Re: Porter
Dear Employer,
I am a college graduate who embraces new experiences with enthusiasm.
I would like to expand my professional horizons by seeking new challenges.
I am offering a variety of skills and experience including general office
work, customer service and data entry. While in college, I learned to work
well with a variety of unique individuals as part of a team. After
graduating with my second degree, I am seeking a long term meaningful
career in which to continue personal growth.
I have worked with several community programs and local charities as a
volunteer. Listed below are the highlights of this work:
Boy Scouts of America - Camporee / Jamboree
Habitat for Humanity
Bobcat Build 2006 - 2009 (Annual event held by Texas
State University in which students go out into the community and
help those in need.)
Walk For Thought 2006 - 2008 (The Texas Brain Injury
Association's annual fundraiser. We raised over $15,000 per
year. I helped plan the events, raise funds, register walkers,
collect money, and solicit prizes.)
PAWS Animal Shelter
I have enjoyed the privilege of being a member of a large family that
believes in self improvement and continued education so it has given me a
firm foundation to build my future goals on. I can provide efficiency,
reliability, honesty, and an ability to look at challenges as
opportunities.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Please feel free
to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Daniel Day
