North Vernon Industry Corp.

North Vernon Industry Corp is a gray iron foundry producing forklift

truck counterweights and similar application castings from 1500lb -

8500lb.

Hired in Dec. 2004 as an Independent Contractor for the completion of

the construction, and equipment installation of NVIC Plant 2.

Upon completion in Feb. 2005 and becoming an employee I was assigned

the design, construction and equipment installation of Plant 3.

In April of 2008 NVIC asked me if I would develop a Pilot Plant for

the manufacture of larger castings using the Furan process. This

project was undertaken and using available used equipment was

completed and fully operational by Oct. 2008.

Held the position of Director of No-Bake Foundry Process Engineering

until May of 2009 when NVIC had it's first staff reduction. I then

became Technical Advisor until Jan. 2010.

MetalCasting Equipment Corp. Feb. 2003 - Dec. 2004.

President of manufacturers representative organization, principles

being General Kinematics Corp., Roberts Sinto Corp., SandMold Systems

Inc., Loramendi USA, Progelta SA.

Provided proprietary equipment, systems engineering and installation

to customers in the TN, AL, GA, MS and FL area such as US Pipe,

Mueller Corp., Teksid Aluminum, Intermet Corp and Citation Corp.

Corporate Plant Engineer: Job responsibilities included the

supervision of large corporate expenditures including such projects as

the installation of a MK 4 Disamatic molding System at Texas Foundries

Div., the Cupola replacement, installation of additional core making

capacity and casting trim press operation at the Citation Marion Div.

Chief Engineer: Responsible for the administration and supervision of

Project Engineering, selection, justification and installation of all

capital appropriations. Responsible for entire plant capital and

operational budgets.

Teksid Aluminum Foundry, Dickson, TN. July 1991 - July 1992

Plant Engineer: Responsible for the Plant Engineering and Maintenance

of a permanent mold, gravity pour, using an isocure core aluminum

foundry producing partially machined aluminum cylinder heads.

Grede Foundries, Milwaukee WI. Jan. 1998 - Feb. 1991.

Manager of Plant Engineering and Maintenance; Responsible for the

administration and supervision of the 5 supervisory and 46 hourly

personnel required to perform the maintenance and plant engineering

function of a steel foundry producing castings from 35lb - 8000lb.

Corporate Plant Engineer: Responsible for the selection,

Justification, engineering and installation of equipment for a multi

plant corporation consisting of three foundries, machine shop and

stamping plant.

VP and Chief Engineer: (Dec. 81- Dec. 87) Responsibilities included

supervision and administration of the Engineering Dept. The design of

green sand preparation equipment and systems. Design of chemically

bonded sand preparation equipment and systems. Design of sand

reclamation equipment and systems. Sales presentation of the

technology for the proposed equipment or system to potential

customers.

Project Manager (June 1975 - Dec. 1981) Erection Supervision and the

start up of all sand preparation and return sand systems at KAMAZ,

USSR. (Kama River Project). Negotiated contracts for erection

supervision and spare parts orders. Negotiated the Final Acceptance

Protocols.
