EXPERIENCE:
Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts 2008-2010 Muskegon, MI
House Manager/Event Manager
At the FCPA I am responsible for ensuring that the clients and the patrons have a positive experience. I
oversee between five and ten employees and up to twenty-five volunteers. Prior to an event I run a meeting
with the volunteers and explain their responsibilities and address any questions or problems. If an employee
does not show up I make the appropriate arrangements by either calling someone in or rearranging
employees. I am also responsible for counting down drawers, updating inventory, ensuring that the events are
properly set up and torn down, making sure that the client adheres to the agreed upon contract, and act as a
liason/mediator between the client and any third parties they may hire (ex: DJs, caterers). I have implemented
"green-er" policies, such as emailing the employee work schedule, and creating a new employee-purchase
agreement so that if an employee purchases items they are charged and it is recorded properly.
