Program Assistant
. Attends and assists in leadership planning meetings, conferences
and appointments
. Coordinates the preparation of the meeting and captures key
information from meetings to summarize in reports for review and

. Supervises Work Experience and Georgia Teen Work personnel
. Collaborates with county staff and participates as a team member
with Office of Provider Management (OPM) staff and providers to

. Interfaces and assists DFCS case managers and supervisors, other
program assistants, providers, Fulton Resource Center (Champs)
workers, payment centers (accounting), perspective providers and
others by answering phones, resolving issues, sending out
applications and directing requests to other sources for assistance
. Conducts comprehensive clerical research using a variety of
resources to generate reports and respond to requests
. Retrieves, screens, opens and distributes incoming mail and
prepares for delivery and sends outgoing documents and other
materials
. Monitors use and maintains supplies for Office of Provider
Management Unit
. Performs duties requiring the exercise of independent judgment in
providing administrative support to five Directors, three
supervisors and ten field specialists
. Logs and assigns all Specialized Foster Care packets, RBWO packets
and Waiver requests received within the Unit
. Maintains assignment and completion logs to ensure packets and
waivers are easily tracked
. Completed reports on Foster Home CPA compliance when Specialist
