Other Experience

Pepsi Cola Customer Service Center

PO Box 10

Winston Salem, NC 27102

Dates: August 1995 to February 1998

Positions Held: Cash Applications Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk and File Clerk.

Position Duties: I also was Accounts Receivables Clerk for the Las Vegas, NV area, which was

the major job held within the company. I worked directly with the customers in

Nevada and field agents at the local distribution centers. I was involved in

applying cash to accounts throughout the United States, which included talking

and communicating with customers within all fifty states. I also held a temporary

position as a file clerk in the scanning department. There we scanned invoices

into the computer system and filed them according to the department regulations.

Reason for Exit: To stay at home with two young daughters, who are now 15 and 12 years old.

Personal Statement:

I attended High School where I studied Office Occupations and dabbled in armature photography,

writing my Senior Term Paper on the subject of Photography. I then automatically entered into the

workforce after graduating, I was not able to attend college because of family finances. Because the

clerical field was not of interest to me, I went from one job to another trying to find satisfaction and a

position that would allow me to use my creative abilities. When my youngest daughter was born, she

had many complications and was often ill. So, I decided to leave the workforce and become a stay at

home mother. My oldest daughter entered her first year of High School in 2008, exactly 20 years

from the date that I graduated and from the same High School, I might add. My family then began to

encourage me to pursue my passion of photography. I then began to research schools to find a

college that would best suit my needs. Finding The Art Institute was a blessing. I am able to study

part time on the fascinating field of Photography and now that my children are older, I am able to start

applying for part time positions to aid in financing my education.
