Human Resource Manager, White & Green Motors, Eaton Rapids MI (Jan 2009 -
present)
. Currently responsible for all areas of human resource management
along with all purchasing functions. Primary duties focused on
staffing, policies and procedures, employee relations, benefits,
payroll and day to day purchasing interaction with suppliers. This is
a new company as of October 2008 selling small motors for lawn and
garden products.
Human Resource Director, Fasco Motors/Von Weise, (Division of Tecumseh
Motor Products)
Eaton Rapids MI (April 1998 - Jan 2009)
. Main responsibilities included all areas of human resource management
for a facility with 400 employees. This required recruiting for the
executive staff, all of the Eaton Rapids exempt and non-exempt
positions and the marketing and sales group for Fasco Motors.
Additional responsibilities included; training, compensation planning
and structure, workers compensation, policies and procedures, employee
relations, staff development, oversight of benefits administration,
safety and management guidance of all employee relation issues. This
was an all inclusive position with day to interaction with of all
levels of management, supervisory staff and hourly manufacturing
employment positions.
. Coordination of HR functions for three additional locations in
Missouri, one in Canada and two in Mexico. This position had five
direct reports consisting of an employment manager, benefits
supervisor, risk manager, administrative assistant (executive group)
and a receptionist.

. Site responsibility for the State Schedule II addictive drug tracking
program. This represents full responsibility for all facets of human
resource management including personnel and productivity reports and
monthly budgeting. I also represented the State of Michigan as a
liaison with pharmacies throughout the state in the collection of
Schedule II drug information.
