Working as an electrical and mechanical designer/detailer in the Hydro

group. Involved with the design and details of multiple small projects in

the mechanical, piping, structural and electrical areas within the hydro

group under the direction and supervision of the lead engineers in each

group.

URS - Washington Group (Contract) Denver, CO Sept-2008 to Mar-2009

. Electrical Designer/AutoCad/Autoplant/PDS EE Raceway/Smartplant Review

Junior electrical designer for new Oil Sands project in Canada. From the

direction of engineers, responsibilities included the sizing of cable tray

from cable data received from senior designers and routing the tray using

Autoplant 3D software. Interface with disciplines to insure accurate design

and implementation as well as correcting interferences. Complete low

voltage cable tray runs with a lead designer and engineer as well as

performing multiple Cad tasks to issue the drawings that were cut from the

model in PDS.

FLUOR (Contract) Greenville, SC from Jul-2006 to Jul-2008

. Electrical Designer/AutoCad/Microstation/PDS Equipment Modeling/EE

Raceway/Smartplant Review.

Electrical designer for new Life Science and Solar Panel Manufacturing

Projects. Responsible for the preliminary physical layout of cable tray,

Motor Control Centers, emergency electrical panels and control panels. Cad

drafting of various electrical plans and details. Layout lightning

protection and grounding on electrical plans as needed and other various

tasks on both projects. Model equipment with PDS. Model cable tray with EE

Raceway. Identify interferences in the model using Smartplant Review.

Interface with other disciplines to solve interferences and plan other

possible locations for equipment and raceways if needed. Attend model

review meetings between disciplines throughout the course of both projects.

DUKE ENERGY (Contract) Oconee Nuclear Station, Seneca, SC Feb-2004 to

June-2006

. Bill of Material Specialist/Electrical Designer/Cad Operator

(Microstation)

Cad Designer to layout and draft electrical power and controls updates for

OAC project which involved the redesign of the computer systems for all

three units. As-built all field complete drawings. Completed Unit 3

electronic conversion from previous contract involving bills of materials.

Transfer manual stand alone drawing data to Duke Energy Design Equipment

Database. All equipment entered into the database was QA1verified by

tracing the wiring on electrical diagrams in order to satisfy NRC standards

and regulations.
