OBJECTIVE

Treatment Unit, and a 24-year career in Chemical Plant Operations and Pilot-
Plant Research departments.
PRIOR EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS
. 4 years shift Process Technician in Polypropylene and Ethylene Oxide /
Ethylene Glycol units.
. 12 years shift Process Technician in Pilot Plant Research Center
(PRC).
. 5 years Process Safety Management (PSM) Technician in Process Research
Center (PRC).
. Served triple role as Safety Technician, Training Coordinator and PSM
Technician (2001 - 2003) during downsizing period prior to the closing
of the Research Center at the end of 2003.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
PATENT AWARD: Received United States Patent 6,319,995 for inventing
catalyst-feeder system for a Polymerization Reaction system developed at
the Process Research Center (2001).
TRAINING DEVELOPMENT: Developed and delivered new-employee training program
for 4 newly hired employees in 2001. Also a member of CATS (Cross
Application Time Sheets) Training Team, developing and delivering training
to all plant employees for use of new SAP timesheet-entry program in 2003.
RESOURCE IMPROVEMENT: Edited and updated process SOPs (Standard Operating
Procedures) in Microsoft Word, and updated and revamped AutoCAD P&IDs
(piping and instrument drawings) for the Process Research Center.
SAFETY: PRC leader in implementing behavior based safety process (MARS) at
the PRC. Began the process and promoted acceptance through example and
influence. Analyzed data and communicated to PRC personnel and management.
Was member of MARS Steering Team and CHSEC (Central HS&E Committee).
