Machine Operator
B-operator- responsible for cutting the cores for
the rolls and assisting the A-operator in making
sure the rolls are the right size, setting the
slitters and adjusting the core chucks, as well as
setting up the orders for the rolls.
"C" operator- responsible for packaging, preparing,
and inspecting the mechanical condition of product
rolls sent to shipping. Responsible to the "A"
operator for assisting and keeping the rewinder
running, identifying defects, and recording test
data. Responsible for using the control panel, to
control the rolls.
"C" operator (hydrapulper)- responsible for
unloading, inspecting, and maintaining records of
recycled paper receipts. The "C" operator controls
and monitors the hydrapulper operation to provide
recycled fiber as requested by the Assistant Crew
Leader.
"D" operator- responsible for handling broke during
machine breaks and general housekeeping. Also
responsible to the production supervisor for
performing various duties throughout the paper mill
and hydrapulper areas.
