Medical Assistant

• Obtaining and charting patient information accurately

• Obtaining patient vital signs such as: Checking for pulse rate, blood pressure,

temperature, height, weight, and head circumference in infants.

• Give Injections (immunizations) to children and adults

• Drape and gown patients if needed

• Draw Vein punctures for testing in the lab

• Instruct patient how to collect a urine sample

• Perform tests in the lab such as: urinalysis, urine culture, pregnancy test, spin tubes

of blood, lab orders, scrub and sterilize speculums

• Front office procedures such as: Answering the telephone, booking appointments,

filing charts alphabetically, transfer shot records and operating the fax and copy

machine properly

• Clean and prepare rooms

• Stock and organize medical supplies

Radiologic Technician

• Prepare Exam rooms

• Instruct patient regarding the examination

• Position patient
