My name is Ashley Healy-Simmons. I’m currently enrolled in the Alaska Job Corps
program where I am training to become an Accountant/Bookkeeper. I am interested in this
position because as part of my education I would like to participate in on the job training and in
order to be able to complete the Job Corps program I am required to have a certain amount of
work base hours. I have experience working in a copy/mail room, basic computer skills, and as a
receptionist. I feel I can succeed to fill this position because I’m very organized, have
experience, and also have good judgment. I’m a hard worker and also a quick learner. I am
certified in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. My schedule is open for days that
this position requires and I have reliable transportation available.
