supporting over 200 training and combat sorties during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
-Expertly monitored 11 secure radio frequencies ensuring safety of flight and command
and control of MH-53 Pave Low, HH-60H Sea Hawk, AC-130U Gunship, MC-130H,
and MC-130E Combat Talons assigned to the detachment.
-Successfully installed a follow on communications package for Joint Special
Operations Air Detachment Arabian Peninsula in a volunteered forward deployment to
Baghdad International Airport to ensure total communication and situation awareness by
documenting over 300 critical flight messages and relaying the messages to other
operating locations, Joint Operations Center and Combined Joint Special Operations Air
Component headquarters.
