Currently working with the Business Architecture team of United Airlines to model the core business
processes for their Loyalty Program called Mileage Plus. BPM tool used is ProVision by Metastorm
Responsibilities:
Analyze existing business processes to evaluate current capabilities, identify process inefficiencies,
improvement opportunities and best practices.

Work in partnership with key business stakeholders in the MP 2.0 i.e. Loyalty Program to develop and
document new processes.

American Express – Phoenix, USA July 09 – Nov 09
Worked with the Strategy & Architecture Solutions group to implement IT Service Management processes
and functions. Build integrated enterprise models for ITIL processes, within Service Lifecycle Framework.
Responsibilities:
Define, document, and analyze IT solution delivery processes, develop and facilitate identified areas for
process improvement. Modeling tool used was ProVision by Metastorm.
Helped define roles and responsibilities in the new process and contributed to standardization
efforts.
Feeding America – Chicago, USA Dec 08 – June 09
Mapped the core business processes like Product Sourcing, Warehousing, Order Management/
Shopping/ Agency relations and Finance related to the Food Banks. Formed working teams to identify,
understand, document and map the current state of the core business processes. Standard notation used for
business process modeling was BPMN 1.1. This served as common language to bridge the communication
gap between business process design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Business process modeling to document core business processes like Product Sourcing,
Warehousing, Distribution, Transportation and Finance.
Develop standard operating procedures. Interview SMEs to identify and define the business
processes, inputs and outputs, business rules and data dependencies

Alberg Software Ltd – Naperville, USA June 08 – Nov 08
This project consisted of two phases first being the revamping of existing Resource Management process
through Business Process Redesign. Analyzing the opportunities for improvements and problem areas,
devising the to-be process which was further implemented in consultation with management. Also the roles
and responsibilities of the Resource Manager were re-drafted. Then a new web based Resource
Management System was conceived. Once the Purchase Order from the client was received the RMS was
used to create a new project. The entire resource management process was automated.
Responsibilities:
Mapped the AS-IS process, assessed the current resource allocation and planning
processes for improvements and devised the new improved process.
Role and responsibilities of the resource manager were re-drafted as per the new business
process. Followed the Unified Modeling Language (UML) based methods using MS Visio to create
Business flow diagrams and Data flow diagrams.
Tech Mahindra - Pune, India Oct. 05 – June 06
Worked with Business Process Management Group of Tech Mahindra with British Telecom as the client. .
21CN (21st Century Network) was a Next Generation Network (NGN) being deployed by British Telecom over
the next 5 years. The core aim of the project was to bring the UK's telecoms network in to the digital age, at
the same time allowing BT to save up to £1billion per year in costs. The total cost of the project is estimated
at £10billion
Responsibilities:
As a Process Analyst captured the high-level process designs and process impact
statements. Tool used for process modeling was ARIS. The eTOM (enhanced Telecom Operations Map)
framework was used as standard to develop the business processes

Worked closely with the client to have a thorough understanding of their business processes,
to design & deliver end to end processes for the various scenarios pertaining to migration in order to
enable planned mass migration of BT Wholesale’s existing customer base from one type of network to
advanced 21C network.

Client: PMO Office Tata Technologies June 04 – Oct 05
Business Process Re-engineering using ProVision Enterprise Pro (a tool used using Workflow, strategy,
Use case, Business Interaction modelers) and MS Visio. Gathering requirements for the processes mapped.
This assignment was a stepping stone to envisage the business processes into the culture of the company it
was led by the COO of Tata Technologies.
Responsibilities:
Worked on the ‘Business Process Design Project’ as Process Analyst. This involved
streamlining (redesigning) Service Delivery processes - Order to Cash Cycle which encompasses of
sub-processes like: Service Order creation, Resource Management, Project Execution & Time booking,
Billing & Invoice generation
Performed analysis to identify critical problem areas and opportunities for improvement
to the processes, people aspect and technology support. Created a TO BE process
Designed and developed integrated human resources workflows for 22 processes in People
CMM at Tata Technologies Ltd. (Now certified at level 5 of SEI PCMM) for Head HR at Tata Technologies.
Client: Tata Motors June 03 – June 04
In depth business process mapping of NPI (New Product Introduction) Process as Process Designer, this
was a part of Business Process Study for ERC & PCBU -Engineering Research Centre & Passenger Car
Business Unit. Methodology used was IDEF - Integrated Definition methodology. This assignment was
performed for the Executive Director of Tata Motors with the objective of mapping the entire the business
processes of the company and further align them with the NPI.
Responsibilities:
Studied the existing Vehicle Development Process. Devised a process mapping methodology to be
followed for the entire project and determined the tool which would best suit the project and the domain.
Processes mapped included Styling, Prototyping, NVH and Crash Testing.
Worked towards integrating all the sub processes within every process. Also assembled the higher
level processes with the various interfaces and other cross functional processes.
Finalized the process maps and took Sign-off from process owners.
Further configured the various EDS Team Center modules as required.
Client: Ethernet Everest Jan 03 – June 03
The project was called - EWISE which was a web enabled Distribution management solution. Worked as
Software Engineer with Oracle 9i Application Server on Solaris platform in Supply Chain Management
domain. The client was Ethernet Everest a part of ACC Group - the leading company in the cement sector.
Responsibilities:
Participated in various system development phases like design, code, test and debug
Designed a graphical user interface which was the front-end of the Distribution management
solution.
Programmed the Order entry and Order approval in Order Management Module
Participated in the unit, integration testing and bug review meetings.
Provided training to end users in using the new application as well as explained the
basic functionality and features. Created user manual and training material.
