Responsibilities included reading and interpreting blueprints. Verifying and establishing grades and elevations for street and parking lots.
Verifying placement of footings, foundations, sidewalks, curb and gutter and patios, managing projects and employees. My team and I were
instrumental in bringing in the project one year ahead of schedule and under budget.
Warehouse Manager Plant Insulation, Emeryville, CA 1992-1994
Responsible for supervising employees
Responsible for establishing an incentive program for the warehouse staff: Incentives were given based upon number of orders pulled correctly
and without damage, speed and efficiency in unloading and putting incoming shipments away. Created a team atmosphere.
Established new freight contracts to help reduce freight costs. Opened the door for competitive freight bidding.
Scheduled pickups and deliveries for Plant Insulation trucks.
Responsible for scheduling and delivering equipment and product to Plant Insulations work crew throughout Northern California via common
carrier and/or our own trucks.
Responsible for scheduling maintenance and preventative maintenance of Plant’s forklifts and order pickers. Also responsible for maintaining
companies fleet of cars and service vans.

documentation; preparing, documenting and filing freight claims for damaged freight with various freight companies; tracking lost or late freight
