Directed, planned and organized IT services for healthcare organization

comprised of multiple critical care facilities, corporate offices, and

approximately 400 employees. Areas of responsibility include: IT service

desk, infrastructure availability, monitoring, security, desktops, and end

user training. In addition to having the primary responsibility for

enterprise support and administration my team was responsible for the

ongoing maintenance of infrastructure components (LAN, WAN, servers,

firewalls, etc). Responsible for staff supervision & development.

Major Initiatives & Achievement Highlights

. Oversaw two year enterprise-wide overhaul of technical infrastructure

including design of new corporate data center (facilities, HVAC,

UPS/electrical, racking, etc), redesign of corporate network (LAN,

WAN, Internet, phone systems, etc) and server infrastructure (Active

Directory, SQL Server, Exchange, Sharepoint, etc). Utilized primarily

. Responsible for design and migration to new virtual server

infrastructure; Used to support primary business applications related

to EMR (Electronic Medical Records), PACS (digital imaging) and BPM

(Business Practice Management) for patient information.

. Implementation of new fault-tolerant storage solution to handle growth

Microsoft Terminal Server environment with new managed Citrix platform

design, racking, and complete network redesign. Client migrated Citrix
