• Increased Canadian Operations EBITDA from $1.6MM to $10MM, through
operations and supply chain improvements, along with a successful sku
rationalization process.
• Re-negotiated supply contracts for purchased bulk products and packaging
materials to build Vita’s vendor/customer relationships.

facilities. Total beverage and bar sales exceeded $50 million/year.

• Reduced plant operating costs by $1.8 million in the 720,000 case/year bar plant
through increased line efficiencies, reduced material scrap, and controlled
inventories.
• Increased order fulfillments to 98% for distribution of high quality beverages and
bars, by Supply Chain Improvements including improving scheduling procedures
and vendor assisted inventory programs.
• Developed a Continuous Improvement training program and trained 300 WNI
employees.
Plant Manager, Beverage Division
Responsible for the construction, process and packaging equipment installation,
and start-up of a (2) production line, Nutritional Beverage facility. The project
included the shutdown of an existing facility and relocation of plant assets. The
project was completed on time, at expected budget, and without interruption of
business.
Key Accomplishments
• Increased service to sales from 70% to 98% cases ordered vs. cases shipped
through the design of a new Supply Chain.
• Negotiated new raw material and packaging vendor contracts to support the new
location of the business.
• Reduced quality defect rate from 3.5% to 0.1% through development of a HACCP
plan, Preventative Maintenance plan, and formal Sanitation procedures.
• Reduced labor cost per case from $0.38 to $0.24 through improved line
efficiencies, reduced changeover times, and equipment upgrades.

Managed an $11.7mm expansion project including a 150,000 square-foot
warehouse, a hi-speed PET bottling line, and an upgrade of the existing
