Objective
To benefit an organization through my education in electrical
engineering, my experience in industrial engineering, and my computer
knowledge; as well as my ability to work well independently or with
others.
Profile
In addition to having two Engineering Baccalaureates from an ABET
accredited program, I have practical working experience and team
leadership skills. I adapt and learn at an accelerated rate, which is
shown by achieving a 3.8 G.P.A. while participating in a NCAA
intercollegiate sport and having an elevated level of responsibility as
an entry-level engineer with my current employer. I aspire to develop
technical expertise and continue my education while working for an
organization that encourages advancement and excellence.

Experience
ASSOCIATE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER, American Greetings Corp., Osceola, AR (2009-
Present). Coordinate closely multi-disciplinary teams to generate ideas
for process improvements efforts and develop justification for capital
projects. Primarily areas of support pertain to maintenance and material
handling, but also involved in manufacturing and order fulfillment
projects.
o Authored eight capital equipment requests in less than a nine month
period.
o Purchased over $500,000 in capital equipment.
o Modified the facilities layout to allow for an 11.5% increase in
storage capacity in the powered industrial vehicle storage area.
o Conducted a power quality study that resulted in a 45% increase in
existing power utilization. This study also yielded a cost avoidance
of approximately $10,000.
o Conducted three equipment demonstrations aimed at improving current
facility process.

Material handler/Package Handler, Frito-Lay Inc., Jonesboro, AR (2006-
2009). As a Material Handler, was responsible for packing trailers with
snack food products to be shipped to retail stores. As a Package Handler,
was responsible for ensuring that packing lines had a constant supply of
corrugation to package product.
o Loaded trucks to supply inventory to retail stores.
o Replenished cardboard corrugation and operated industrial carton
erecting machine to support other packaging department associates.
