Entrepreneurial - Owned and operated two individual businesses. Completed
an entrepreneurial course at the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce and was
involved with the local SBA. Responsible for all facets of business
development including start-up, product knowledge, inventory, sales,
management, market and research.
Sales Management - Managed a team of associates for indirect support;
activations, billing adjustment, sales support; development of employee
manual, policy and procedures manual, and job descriptions; conducted
employment interviews and terminations; responsible for new hire
orientation. Designed and developed an employee recognition award program
to highlight and reward exemplary employees. Maintained quota levels and
growth projections on a monthly basis, indirect sales quota, sales support
"add on" quotas, churn rates and overall net growth.
Customer Service Management - Managed a regional call center responsible
for all of New York and New England. Maintained a Customer Service Center
with high call volume responsible for over 300,000 customers. Managed
Indirect Sales Support assisting over 40 sales associates with all facets
of daily activities. Supervised the Contract Processing Center, responsible
for entering information and maintaining customer records. Designed and
implemented a National Activation Center responsible for maintaining all
customers on a nationwide level.
New Hire Training - Implemented a new hire training facility designed to
welcome and train all new customer service and sales associates. Designed
and maintained a Standard Operating Procedure manual used throughout the
company. Constructed a start to finish training procedure that incorporated
all facets of the company including, policies, procedures, and company
standards.
