in the design and development of reporting applications for the Intelecable
(ITC) and DDP Cable TV subscriber management systems. Assigned tasks,
reviewed code and designs, conducted performance reviews and mentored new
employees.
Amdocs/DST Systems/USCS - Software Engineer - Intelecable 1993-1996
Worked in the reports applications group to rewrite our existing domestic
Cable Subscriber Management and Billing System (DDP) to an international
multi lingual system (ITC Intelecable) and convert it to run from a
Tandem/Non-Stop SQL/Pathway environment to a Unix/Oracle/Tuxedo
environment. Added extensive functionality to externalize all output to
the UI into message files which could be translated into different
languages depending on what country the application was deployed to. Wrote
detailed designs, coded reporting programs, and worked with QA in defect
resolution.
