evaluated the human resources and employee relations service support needs

I managed 18 direct and indirect reports, inclusive of five HR managers. My

HR teams provided full generalist support for 1,300 employees covering the

north and south central United States and our Canadian, Mexican, Caribbean,

and South American locations-- 28 Avnet locations. Avnet, Inc. is a

Significant Contributions:

Management counseling. Acted as a business partner to provide guidance and

counseling to all levels of management on employee coaching, counseling,

Change management. Successfully helped manage the transitions resulting

from three companies being acquired and integrated into Avnet, and one

internal business model restructure.

non-exempt employees, including grievance handling through arbitration.

Decker Food Company

Decker Foods was a meat processing facility of 280 employees. This facility

had recently replaced a union workforce with a non-union workforce just

before I joined the company. This division staff position was a generalist

function with a strong emphasis on maintaining non-union status. At Decker

I managed the third union organizing attempt of my career.

was a division staff generalist position at the "flagship" home division

that had 620 employees operating out of three physical sites in Temple,

Texas.
