December 2005 - Present
Consulted to injection molding and lighting design and manufacturers
primarily in the Asian markets; India and China, bringing expertise in
Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Systems. Achieved World Class
automotive standards and implemented lean design and manufacturing concepts
to enhance quality and profitability for clients. Conducted VALUE STREAM
MAPPING on three of their assembly lines that generated over 55% of the
total volume for the facility and 65% of the sales. After implementation
of the improvements, the inventory levels reduced by 48%, productivity and
efficiency improved by 62% leaving machine time open for other product.
Most importantly, trained Senior Management in implementation of these
principals so the results can be realized forever.

Lighting design and manufacturing company at two major OEM's.

PME International, LLC, Swatrz Creek, MI- OPERATIONS MAMANGEMENT - February
2002 - December 2005 Established Green Field Plastics Injection Molding
Company in Six Months. Operational with ISO 9001 certification three
months later. The facility operated with minimal business initially, and
grew profitably within an additional six months.
. Developed in-house Manufacturing Control System for inventory, scrap,
quality and billing accessible 24/7 real time on the net.
. Implemented systems and manufacturing processes to create an identity
of "Niche Manufacturer" of Lighting and Exteriors Systems and
Interior Systems. Successfully passed audits and supplied Toyota,
General Motors, Harley Davidson, Aisen Sieki, Lear, Magna (Decoma),
Modine and other major Tier 1 customers.
. Implemented and followed lean manufacturing principals and introduced
value stream mapping to achieve world class efficiencies, quality,
minimized inventory levels and enhanced the profitability while

Stratech, LLC - ENGINEERING,OPERATIONS AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Formed as a Sales and Marketing company for rapid prototyping of Exterior
Lighting and Complicated Cosmetic Automotive Parts.
. Acquired 51% stake into a small Tooling and Manufacturing facility in
Auburn Hills, and secured additional business that dictated expansion
through further acquisition. Successfully acquired a company in Grand
Blanc, MI with three manufacturing location in May, 1999. Secured
"Preferred Supplier of Exterior and Interior Systems" status with
General Motors and Delphi Corporation. Launched several major
programs including Door Modules, Fascias, Interior Trim Assemblies and
Exterior Trim.
. Named as one of the only two "Preferred Suppliers" within General
Motors and Delphi Corporation by consolidating four operations into
two. Purchased by 3DM international in June 2004.
Textron Automotive Company, Troy, MI - Program Management
April 1994 - May 1998
. Secured Program Management position with Textron managing all
exteriors and lighting program for Chrysler Car Platform
. Played a significant role in launching several products like LH Tail
Lamps and Sill Moldings. Also helped Textron in designing Automated
Assembly lines, eliminating need for extra operators, as well as,
purchasing their first 4-Color Injection Molding Press.
. Played a significant role in reverse engineering of ZJ Bumper System
Modular Assembly
. Throughout my career at Textron, I learned different processes and
tools via Value Stream Mapping that streamlined the product flow and
enhanced the bottom line for the company.
Cooper- Wagner Lighting Division, Troy, MI - Sr. Mfg Eng & Program Mgr.
June 1992 - May 1998
. Accepted position of Senior Manufacturing Engineer with Wagner
Lighting Division of Cooper Industries in Hampton, VA. Assisted in
launching 3 different models of COMPLEX SURFACE HEADLAMPS for the
Chrysler "LH Platform". This included procuring the capital
equipment, tooling and secondary equipment. Implementing lean
manufacturing process, establishing quality systems and full product
approval.
. First Chrysler supplier to host KAIZAN. I was in-charge of project
coordination for the Wagner team
. . In 1994, Wagner Lighting plant was named as "One of the top ten
manufacturing plants' in the country. Wagner retained this award for
4 years in a row
. Received promotion to Program Manager after successfully
demonstrating leadership qualities. Moved to Detroit Office in
April, 1994 in-charge for Chrysler and GM Lighting Programs
. Successfully launched "AN Headlamp" program that ensured custom fit
of headlamp to the body eliminating any "A-Gap" or "V-Gap" issues.
Also, designed and launched the first automated headlamp assembly
line at Wagner.
GM Corporation, Inland Fischer Guide Division - Manufacturing Engineer
April 1989 - June 1992
. Started my career with General Motors at Inland Fisher Guide Division,
Anderson, IN as a Manufacturing Engineer at this premier Lighting and
Exterior Fascia Manufacturing facility. Here at the start of MY
career, I acquired several skills, not just in the areas of
manufacturing but also how to manage people and dealings with union.
. Played a major role in development of world's smallest headlamp (55 mm
x 135 mm) that was later launched on Pontiac "W" Program (Grand Prix)
and World's First "SRIM Bumper Beam" that was launched on the Buick
Roadmaster and several RIM Bumper Systems that was launched on the
Buick Roadmaster
