Managed the day to day operations of 7 warehouse personnel (includes
shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, truck drivers and forklifts).
Ran daily and weekly oracle reports to help identify shortages within the
inventory. Ran Min/Max report every 90 days to control inventory levels.
Conducted daily inventory cycle counts with variances not to exceed 15% of
all items counted. Conducted full physical inventory with variances not to
exceed 15% of all items counted. Checked 100% accuracy on picking, staging
and conformations of all requisitions. Responsible for the mid-year and
yearly evaluations. Responsible for the training of warehouse personnel on
forklift operations. Responsible for the verification of hours worked by
warehouse personnel. Managed the picking, packing, and tracking of Customer
Premise Equipment. Established and communicated safety, production,
quality, and goals to warehouse personnel. Communicated with various
vendors on availability of product. Attended weekly and monthly meetings
with other departments. Established the use of barcode labels, which
significantly improved product identification.
Inventory Specialist II
Duties include, serve as the Trainer for all CSR's as well as in-house and
outside Telemarketers on the procedures of shipping CPE, act as a liaison
between the Warehouse, UPS & Customer Contact Personnel to coordinate
shipments & resolve problems and discrepancies, receive daily shipments
from various delivery agencies (UPS, Airborne, FedEx, etc.), coordinate
necessary CPE requirements for shipment to customers, issue and return CPE
through ICOMS system, prepare and ship various CPE to external customers,
enter data into JDE/Oracle software system for non-stock deliveries
accordingly, prepare all internal delivery information on daily log sheets
accordingly, keep 1- year log on all CPE shipments, non-stock deliveries
and received equipment, administer daily deliveries of non-stock parcels to
internal customers.
