b ird. Plant had 2 HACCP failures prior to my joining the company. USDA had no confidence
i n the management but I came in and established that confidence and had very good
relationship with them. No more HACCP failures.

Assistant Plant Manager for two plants operating under SIS inspection system. Greensboro,
A labama plant was in final stages of Progressive Enforcement Action when I came on board
w ith the company. was given the challenge to correct these problems and get the plant back
to operating in normal SIS inspection under USDA regulations, I was successful in
achieving this relationship and running under normal conditions.

This is where I began my career in the poult ry business, began working in the field as a
b roiler supervisor and after three years. I went into the plant and t rained in all facets of
poult ry processing. culminating to the Plant Managers job in 1981.
The plant was recognized as number one supplier by major Fast Food Suppliers including
K FC,
Popeyes, Lees Famous Recipe. and Churches. Wrote and implemented the fi rst NELS
p rogram to be accepted by USDA in Alabama I also did the purchasing and coordinated the
L ive Haul operation.

HACCP certification from the University of Georgia, Athens October 1999,
Advanced HACCP certification from the Poult ry Science Department Auburn University,
