Online Banking
Designed and developed an online banking system using Java. The system
deals with customer access to online bank accounts and transactions such as
deposit, withdrawal, viewing balance, over draft charges, etc. Used JDBC to
connect to Oracle databases for storage and retrieval of customer
information.
E-Cards
Designed and developed an E-card system using Java mail API and Servlets in
J2EE. The system is used to send greeting cards to multiple recipients by e-
mail along with personalized messages and receive acknowledgement from
recipients once the greeting has been viewed.
Data Mining Engine to find details of proteins
Designed and developed a data mining engine using JSP. The engine searches
various biological databases to find the details of a protein such as its
identifier, description, Cluster no, Gene name, given the name of the
protein and the name of the database to be searched. Used JDBC to connect
to Oracle databases for retrieving protein details.
Study of Cycles in Gaussian Modular Arithmetic via Computer Experiments
Designed and developed a system to study cycles in Gaussian integers. The
system takes different prime numbers as input and performs modular
arithmetic operations on Gaussian integers to find its orders and powers
using discrete logarithm problem. The system was implemented in C.
Multimedia Load Balancing for 3 Processors via Computer Experiments
Designed and developed a system to improve the performance of processors by
balancing the load equally between three processors. The system takes the
number of jobs, backlogs for each processor, and the time taken for each
job as input and calculates the processing time for each processor. The
system was implemented in Java.
Bachelor's Degree Project
Online Examination
Designed and developed an online examination system using Java, JSP, and
J2EE. The system allows students to write exams online and the results are
generated automatically. This software is now being used by the university
