CAREER SUMMARY

I have over 7 years of experience working with all aspects of film and video production as well as

interactive media and photography. I’ve touched on just about every area of production, from acting, to

editing, and developing soundtracks as well as having crewed on numerous student films and gone through

all phases of production on over eight of my own. My passion is editing film. An activity I once hated

but grew to love and become quite good at once realizing that this is the stage of post production where the

movie finally comes together and take shape. My strengths include being very attentive to detail as well as

organized and orderly. When working on a job of any magnitude I always put my best foot forward and

make sure it’s done on time as well as right and that it exceeds standards.

NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Three time participant in the Newport International Film Festival in which the first two years I was a

student juror through my high school. We viewed numerous films from around the world and even

presented an award to the movie we liked best at the closing ceremonies along with our mentor and

confidant Boston Phoenix film critic Gerald Peary.

Submitted a film shot on mini DV my third year involved with Newport International Film Festival

titled “…” about a failed mime who decides to enroll in college and study accounting. Shown during

the last weekend of the festival.

Held a semi-permanent substitute teacher position at Tiverton Middle School in Rhode Island during

the last half of the year 2007 for a Home Economics Teacher who was on leave of absence for cancer

treatments. Worked certain variables of film into the lesson plan where permitted.

TESTIMONIAL

“Sean adapted to his job assignments quickly, which was very important to our demanding schedule, and

always maintained a positive and pleasant attitude with his superiors and his co workers. He stayed very

committed to this project while still maintaining a demanding class schedule at his school. Sean carried

heavy equipment, drove actors to and from the set, and basically did whatever he was asked to do and

never once complained. Even when he was asked to assist in the rain effects at 3 am in the morning, which

meant getting wet and being cold, Sean never hesitated. He jumped right in and helped get the job done.

Sean Christensen would be an asset to anyone that would hire him for any position he would be pursuing.”

One scene involved lighting a big pile of fake money on fire for which we were to use

The client disliked the color of the fake living room we had just created. It was my job to find the
