Responsibilities included: Inputting doctors notes into DV Max program, placing IV
catheters, drawing blood, running lab work on Lasercyte vet lab, animal restraint,
creating estimates and invoices, taking radiographs, developing with automatic
processor, medicating patients, assisting with surgery, euthanizing sick or debilitated
animals, monitoring heart rates on surgery patients, bandaging wounds, trimming nails,
taking temperatures, getting history on patients, dental prophies, filling Rx, making
surgery packs, scheduling appointments, daily cleaning and disinfecting, laundry,
stocking exam rooms, and general husbandry.
Reason for leaving: My mother was not doing well medically, and my sister got in a car
accident so I went to New Mexico to help with their pet store and dog grooming business.
I started out as a volunteer and was working two jobs, then was hired on full time.

Responsibilities included: Customer service, answer phones, take messages, filing,
inventory control, receiving, pricing and putting away merchandise, lumber bids and
orders, window take offs orders, and quotes, general office duties, configuring contractor
pricing and board footage, mathematically configuring quotes for lumber and decking
materials, helping employees and management with computer program (iQ, for Andersen
windows, Activant POS, Milgard computer software, Eagle for windows). I also have
some experience with Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, and Outlook Express, meeting with
vendors for Product knowledge, constant contact with owner over computer issues via e-
mail and phone, documenting all computer issues, checking input on quotes and orders
by other employees. My average typing speed is 43 wpm.
Reason for leaving: I needed to get my hours in for my practicum to get my first year of
schooling completed and couldn’t get the time off I needed to do it, so unfortunately I had
to quit.

( Wrangler VF, Activant).
Reason for leaving: I was not being compensated for my duties as a store manager.
Ransom Brothers offered me more money to go back so that is what I did.

away, lumber bids and take offs, ordering windows, and general cleaning.
Reason for leaving: I had been there for 17 yrs and wanted to try something different.
About me:
I am a very hard worker, am very punctual, get along well with other employees and
customers. I am self motivated and try to find things to do during slow periods.
I am half way through my second year of veterinary technology school. I am a certified
Equine massage therapist (but not practicing). I have been around equine my whole life.
Growing up we had a small breeding program and I have bred some horses as an adult.
We have had cattle, pigs, chickens, sheep, goats, cats, dogs, birds, fish and turtles. I
worked on a Llama farm as a young kid grooming. I also worked at a thoroughbred farm
(Golden Eagle) right out of high school. I trained horses for people as a kid to buy my
first car.
