Milacron 2003-2009: Software engineer:

Created software to implement various special sequences for injection

electromechanical devices installed on machines.

Work covered a broad range of controls. From early keyed symbol

entry through later higher level encoding in both ladder and

script coding.

HMI development using GCLISP, C language, to create EEPROM

binaries and C executables.

Pentium based controls utilizing C++ code created in Microsoft

Developer Studio for both sequencing and HMI.

. Worked with field service personnel by phone or on site during

software implementation in customer's machines.

. Selected appropriate point of departure software to retrofit new

controls to machines made by various manufacturers including

Milacron, HPM, Farrel, Van Dorn,

. Assisted field service personnel by troubleshooting operational

software and electrical problems via phone.

. Instructed field personnel in making software changes in the

machines.

. Created BOMs specifying parts needed to retrofit or upgrade

machines per order.

. Provided time and materials information to sales engineers for

proposals

Milacron 1991-2003: Electrical & Software engineering:

. Created schematics to retrofit new controls to injection molding

machines. Interfaced existing equipment or new per customer

specification. Included feedback devices and servovalves for

closed-loop systems.

. Updated schematics across product lines to meet newer SPI

specifications.

. Created PLC software for sixty-six tool exchanger for multi-

spindle specialized skin mill.

. Specified and coordinated vendor supplied relay panel for

automated tooling head exchanger.

Prior to 1991 Maintenance Technician for machines tools and support

equipment

. Troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools. e.g. boring

mills, turning centers, machining centers, grinders.

. Tested machine alignment with laser measuring tools.

. Troubleshooting and maintenance of machines with manual and

electronic control systems and drives. e.g. planers, grinders,

lathes, drills, heat treat furnaces, hoists, magnetic controllers,
