*Profile
I am a friendly, hard-working and dedicated individual who has an ambition
to gain knowledge and experience, and succeed in the work force. I have
fairly extensive experience in sales, customer service, office work,
landscaping, and the health care industry. I love to learn, and am always
up to a challenge whatever the situation. I get along well with others,
whilst also working efficiently on my own. I am seeking a position where I
can develop and excel while giving my best to an employer. I'm a fast
learner, and am always trying to find a way to go the extra mile for my
company, supervisors, and co-workers. Integrity is of upmost importance to
me, and if there would ever be an issue with something not being
accomplished correctly, I am very approachable, and willing to correct
anything brought to my attention.

Lewis and Clark Community College
I'm working on my associates degree in Fire Science, which should be
completed in the winter of 2011

degree, which is still in
progress.
2005 - 2006
College of Eastern Utah, Price, UT
I was a Biology major, and worked on my associates there for a year and a
half. I achieved my EMT-B (Emergency Medical Technician- Basic)
certification while I was there.
*Work Experience
January, 2009 - Present Unit Secretary/ Patient Care Technician/
Phlebotomist at Christian Hospital ( St Louis, MO ) I work with a variety
of computer programs, while entering data, doctor's orders, transferring
patients in the system, handling insurance information, building charts,
organizing files, transporting patients to and from tests, cleaning them,
feeding them, drawing blood for labs, and just about everything else that I
can do to help out. I've been there a year and a half, and have had
multiple compliments from co-workers, patients, and family members. I've
had two raises, and when I applied for a transfer to the ICU, I was picked
over upwards of a hundred people who applied for the job because of my work
ethic, and reputation. I was also hired as Unit Secretary, but have since
taken on several other jobs outside of my job description to be more of an
asset.
Aug, 2007 - January, 2009 Waiter/Server for Bandana's BBQ ( Ankeny, IA,
and Florissant, MO )
I was responsible for greeting each guest, and making them feel at home for
their whole stay. I would
take their order, make suggestions, make conversation, prepare a lot of
their food, and deliver it to their
tables. I was also quite good at up-selling, remembering people, and
getting repeat customers.
Jun, 2001 - Present Crew Boss/Laborer for Generations Landscaping ( Price,
UT )
I've been responsible for everything from design work, or running
machinery, to dealing with the clients on a daily basis, and keeping them
abreast of everything, and dealing with any concerns. I also collected
payment, and ran crews of workers, and delegated people to different
aspects of the projects.
*Additional Skills
I worked in the office of Rocky Mountain Home Health-care, as the Assistant
Office Manager. I have a passion for helping people, and I'm told I'm quite
good at relating to patients, and understanding them so can help them
better. I also have extensive computer skills, and have been trained in the
use of all of the programs in Microsoft Office, and various other computer
programs, within different operating systems. I maintained a license as an
EMT-B (Emergency Medical Technician- Basic) in the state of Utah for four
years, and am currently in the process of getting my re-certification in
Illinois, and Missouri.
