• Leader of team of Asset Protection employees

• Oversees staffing and scheduling of AP team

• In charge of passing down policies and procedures to fellow employees and team members

• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and monthly alarm tests

• File daily, weekly, and monthly forms and logs in appropriate locations

• Pull and/or purge appropriate paperwork for management when necessary

• Oversee accuracy and completion of paperwork for monthly audits and inspections by outside parties

• Check customer receipts for accuracy and use proper procedures to correct errors

• Monitor CCTV cameras for unordinary shopping behavior

• Use DVR to review previously recorded footage and burn them to disc for leadership or other authorities

• Greet customers entering and exiting the location and provide courteous customer service

• Talk weekly at store meetings about theft trends and safety related topics

• Responsible for maintaining low theft percentages well below store budget

• Review adherence to asset protection guidelines on high theft merchandise

• Assist in yearly evaluation of team members

• Responsible for daily documenting of department key holders

• Communicate with supervisors on safety issues and potential hazards

• Adhere to store policy with regards to how to deter/apprehend shoplifters

• Conduct apprehensions of shoplifters when criteria under store policy are met

• Fill out and send reports to appropriate management regarding theft occurrences
