I worked for a client T-Mobile cell phone company. I was responsible
for pulling up customers accounts when they called in. Then I would have to
answer any questions they might have about their account such as their rate
plan, the type of phone they had and how it worked. Then sometimes I would
have to sale them a new phone. Sometimes I would have to make adjustments
to their bill by giving credits. Then I would also have troubleshoot their
phone if they called in stating their phone was not working like it use to
and if I could not fix it and it was under warranty or they had insurance I
would send them another phone.
09/04-10/05 HOSPIRA SVP Maint. Dispatcher 252-***-**** Gary
Williams
I was responsible for making sure that lines in the plant stayed
running. If a line went down or a piece of equipment was not working
properly the line operator or supervisor would call me let me know. I then
would create a work order for that line and then dispatch a mechanic to fix
the problem. I then would have to keep up with how long it took each
mechanic to do each job and close out the work order by stating what had
been done to the line. I would also have to prepare a report on how well
the lines ran that night so I could pass it down to the next shift of
mechanics. I was also in charge of keeping up with the mechanics schedules.
When the supervisor was not present I would then take the position of
supervisor and was in charge over the mechanics
11/03-04/04 RBC Centura Bank Teller 252-***-**** Cynthia Kirby
I was responsible for cashing and depositing funds into various
accounts for our customers. I also had to speak with them about the
different accounts we had to offer and make them aware of the ones that
would fit their needs. I would also have to balance my drawer at the end of
my shift.
01/01-03/03 Aegis Communication CSR/Order Writer/Switchboard
Here is where one of the clients I worked for was QWEST Telephone
Company from out west. I had to take order s customers had placed and type
it up for the tech so he could read it and understand things like how many
lines to install in the home or business and what features they wanted to
have. Then I would also have to be the switchboard operator so when
customers called I would transfer them back to the right department. Then I
switched clients and started working for cablevision out of NY. I would
answer the phones when customers called. I would pull up their accounts and
go over their bill. I would take payments. I would also set up appointments
for techs to come out to their home. I would also walk them through how to
hook up their TV with a VCR, DVD, and game units. I would also try to get
them to change their service and upgrade to a bigger package.
