I've made a commitment to stay with my Mom in her declining years - she

wants to live out her life in the home where she raised her kids. Such a

commitment brings out the best in me in terms of professionalism and

dedication.

Fortunately, I've had training and experience in a number of areas

including customer service (both internal and external), computer and

software technology, small vehicle operation (forklifts, bobcats, and

Dynalifts), and some mechanical assembly.

Also, when I say this I sound like I'm bragging but I'm not. I've

consistently proven throughout my working life that I'm one of the most

hardworking and efficient employees a company can hire. I'm the guy the

boss looks out and sees working (I'll grab a broom and sweep if there's

nothing else that needs done) when everybody else is standing around.

I'm a quick learner which I do best by doing. I make people around me

laugh. I like to keep the atmosphere really upbeat. Yet as productive as

possible.

I've had several jobs where I did some quite heavy lifting (some of the

valves at Barrick goldmine weigh 100 lbs) and where the job required me to

stand almost the entire shift. These things I can do with no problem.

I hope to continue my college education in the near future. I was within

15 units of graduation from California State University in Sacramento when

I had to relocate to Wells to help out my aging mother. My field is

Communication Studies, Mass Media emphasis.
