Title: Site Safety & Health Officer

Duties: Develop site specific safety programs/plans to include emergency actions, response, evacuation,

and security plans. Interpret and apply regulatory requirements applicable to the project scope of work,

Federal and State OSHA, Local and EPA. Maintain timely and accurate injury/exposure records, such as

OSHA 300 Log, first aid treatment and jobsite injury log. Verify/ensure all company personnel and

subcontractors have the requisite training pertinent to their scope of work. Conduct and document daily

safety inspections and monthly site safety audits. Responsible for complete jobsite safety and

environmental programs and oversight on various construction/renovation projects for primarily

correct hazardous conditions, safety violations, and unsafe work practices. Investigated accidents,

incidents, close calls and property damages and ensure oral and written reports are completed as

specified. Provided workers with the applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA,)

act and regulations onsite. Ceased all activities in the area of an identified health and safety problem until

it is resolved. Ensured that all injured workers are treated and attended properly. Responsible for

identifying hazards, assess the risk and implemented acceptable controls. Removed from site any

employee(s) of the contractor or it’s subcontractor who does not comply with the safety requirements.
