Led the enterprise-wide application of Lean concepts and Six Sigma methodologies. Engaged process owners to

• Improved quality from 150,000 PPM to 700 PPM - implemented detailed assembly instructions with operator
self-checks for cross training consistency and operator accountability.
• Increased assembly-line capacity 20% and reduced queues by enabling operators to flex.
• Eliminated shortages and simplified delivery of material to production lines by introducing KanBan
replenishment methods.
Production Planner, Project Manager, Plant Manager (Canton, OH) 1999 - 2000
Continued production output of $98.5MM while moving manufacturing lines to new suppliers, reducing staffing by
227, and finally closed the facility. Created Lean line layouts and processes. Reported to Director of

Implemented Demand Flow Technology (DFT) in the ATM Manufacturing Plant. Applied Lean tools and

• Achieved 92% schedule attainment and 30% labor reduction by implementing mixed model lines.
• Eliminated excess inventory (11,000 sq. ft., $35MM) while improving inventory turns from 3 to 14.
