API Standards for clients in
present Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, and Kentucky and directed the
drafting of the tanks and vessels. Designed and completed 40
Pressure Vessel and Tank alterations and eight (8) complete
tanks and vessels.

Project Manager / Sr. Project Engineer
Directed the multi-discipline efforts for the design and construction
of capital projects for a major petroleum refinery in southwest
Louisiana. Average annual responsibility: $3.7MM.
. Significant accomplishments included reduction of a Product Benzene
Reduction project cost from $3.1MM to $2.7 MM by reuse of existing
piping and rerouting of new piping from tank farm to ship loading.
. Successfully completed all projects within authorized budget and
schedule, performed all duties of project manager from scope
definition to startup including: PHA reviews, estimating, planning,
design reviews, AFEs, equipment specifications, cash flow
forecasts, requisitions, bid analyses, project control and
tracking, Pre-startup Safety reviews, management of change (MOC)
documents, and use of SAP software.
Project Manager / Sr. Project Engineer
Managed multi-discipline efforts to design and construct capital
projects for an LDPE plant (4 units) in southwest Louisiana. Average
Annual responsibility: $3.4MM.
. Completed all projects on schedule and within approved costs. Directed

completion with the use of Icarus Project Manager software, generate
AFE documents, purchase requisitions, equipment specifications,

construction for contract compliance for upgrades of; a pipeline

Directed, and was responsible for, the efforts of the Mechanical
Department and the design of projects for clients of the employer in
southwest Louisiana.
. Directed efforts to upgrade a refinery's P&IDs to meet OSHA
standards. And, directed efforts to design capital projects for a
Chlorine-based chemical producer, generate equipment
specifications, project estimates, and piping stress analyses by

Responsible for the setup and implementation of a project engineering
department for an ethylene producer. Department was multi-disciplined
with up to 10 contract engineers, a design staff of up to 14
individuals, and one administrative assistant. Average annual budget:

. Organized the project engineering department technical staffing and
administrative positions, developed engineering procedures with
position responsibilities, tracked the cost of all projects,
adjusted manpower as required, coordinated activities with other
departments, and updated plant management on status of each project
bi-weekly.
Senior Project Engineer / Technical Liaison
Responsible for the design and execution of off-site and related
projects associated with the ongoing construction of a new 1 BPY
ethylene plant in Sulphur, La. Included were:
. An ethane pipeline with meter station, from Mount Belleview, Texas
to the plant in Sulphur, La.
. Coordination with electrical utility (Gulf States Utilities, now
Entergy) for electrical transportation from the generation
facilities in Westlake, La. to the plant and construction of new
substation at the site.
. A hydrogen pipeline (approx. 2-1/2 miles), Inter-unit piping,
Natural gas pipeline (approx. 1-1/2 miles) from supplier, Ethylene
product pipeline to underground storage facilities (approx. 17
miles) and to an LDPE unit (approx. 2 miles), and, assisted the
chief negotiator with technical issues for the cost of fuel, feed
stock, electrical utilities, and product prices (Hydrogen and
Ethylene).
Engineering Project Manager
Responsible for the multi-discipline design of a new catalyst plant at
the client's site in Sulphur, La. This included a staff of 4 contract
engineers and 7 designers for a total completed cost of $26MM.
. Worked with the client to define the scope of the project, directed
the activities to detail the design of the plant.
Project Engineer
Responsible for the design and execution of capital projects of a
basic chemicals producer in Westlake, La.
. Assisted the scoping and estimating of projects, directed the
design of each aspect of the projects, held PHA reviews, generated
AFE documents and equipment specifications, and, coordinated
efforts with construction management.

maintenance, requisitioned long delivery items for turnarounds in
my area, and maintained spare parts inventory.

Petroleum Engineer / Drilling Engineer
Responsible for activities in assigned fields actively producing oil
and gas. Average responsibility; approximately six (6) producing
fields (about 50 wells). Responsibility included:
. Significant achievement; Made long-term study that revealed that
the employer would be required to make a large investment in
equipment to maintain production. This gave the employer time to
procure and install the equipment in time to avoid a long-term
