Work Experience:
I have been employed by the Greene County Sheriff's Office as a full time
Law Enforcement Officer from April 1992 until September 2010.
I have a total of 22 years law enforcement service including Reserve
Patrol, Patrol Officer, and 10 years as a Narcotic Investigator conducting
undercover and overt investigations, including detachments to the
C.O.M.E.T. Drug Task Force and DEA Task Force.
For the last 7 years, I have been assigned as a Detective with the Criminal
Investigations Division. My responsibilities include, all missing person
cases and dangerous fugitive apprehension investigations. In addition, I
was assigned various cases involving both general and major crimes; I
handled all telephone based investigation needs, involved in crime scene
processing, and served as the major crime scene photographer. In January
2009 I was promoted to the position of Sergeant in the Criminal
Investigations Division.
In addition to those duties, I was assigned as a Task Force Officer with
the United States Marshal Service where I was deputized as a Special Deputy
United States Marshal with the Western District of Missouri, Southern
Missouri Fugitive Task Force, and served as the Assistant Supervisor of the
Task Force. My Task Force duties included the investigation and
apprehension of dangerous fugitives, conduct extensive technical based
investigations, and assisted State and Local agencies in their
investigations. Supervisory duties include inventory control and
maintaining electronic surveillance equipment, maintaining Task Force
vehicle reports, Task Force Officer overtime records, assist with direct
field supervision of Task Force Officers, and assume the duties of the Task
Force Supervisor in his absence.
Volunteer Service:
1980 - 1990, Served with the volunteer fire and rescue service, and held
the titles of Training Officer and Fire Chief, supervising a department of
40 personnel, three stations, and 12 emergency vehicles.

Specialized Training and Experience:
Graduate Drury Law Enforcement Academy
Member NATIA (National Technical Investigators Association) - In 2007, I
obtained my certification as a, Certified Technical Investigator.
Currently licensed to conduct Peer2Peer child pornography investigations.
I recently completed Title 19 Cross Designation Training with The
Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This
training allows me to work Federal Crimes related to, Child Pornography,
Child Exploitation, intellectual property rights, drug smuggling, and money
laundering.
I have obtained numerous hours of training related to conducting criminal
investigations and investigative techniques from various sources including
the National Technical Investigators Association (NATIA), Drug Enforcement
Administration (DEA), Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri State Fire
Marshal's Office, National Fire Academy, the United States Marshals
Service, and various other professional organizations.
This training includes but is not limited to specialized training courses
and or certifications for interview and interrogation, crime scene
processing, evidence collection and examination, crime scene photography,
the seizure, examination, and analysis of electronic and telephonic
communication devices and records, methamphetamine laboratory
investigation, fire cause & origin, and arson.
