Experience Staff Accountant/Human Resources

July 2002 - December 2009 Cornerstone Detention

Products, Inc.

. Duties included payroll manager, included all aspects of payroll from

setup of new hires to processing payroll and direct deposits on a

weekly basis, to mailing out checks. Accounts payable duties were to

receive invoices and process through Accounts Payable. Weekly Cash

Flow and Projected Cash Flow statements to president/owner. Process

inventory additions and withdrawals. Accounts Receivable, print and

distribute Job Cost reports, materials and labor, weekly to determine

variances in Cost. Set up a database to keep track of excess inventory

that had been purchased for jobs and wasn't used. This helped to cut

cost by using inventory that had already been cost allocated to other

jobs. Entered Purchase Orders, linked documents in Document Manager

Software, and forwarded to appropriate personnel, along with many

various office duties.

Duties included Job Cost Analysis, Payroll, Month End Sales Tax,

Vacation Accruals. Coordinate weekly production goals

with employees needed. Created a database in Access to track labor by

departments and overall job labor cost. Prepared monthly efficiency

reports and job cost variances. Prepared weekly progress reports and

monthly error reports. Scheduled and coordinated field personnel.

Maintained attendance records, completed new hire packages, prepared

shipping memos, employee evaluations, salary history, accident reports

and recorded in OSHA log. Communicate with temporary employment agency

when extra employees needed to achieve production goals. Worked with

Project Management in the last months of employment as an Assistant

Project Manager, processed pay applications, change orders, certified

payroll, designed spreadsheets to track job shipments to be able to

allocate cost to be billed.
