My Past experience was a Tool and Die setup in the Plastic Injection
Molding trade. I was responsible for the setup and preprocess of machinery
for production, including the user interface of the machine controller. In
addition, I was certified in operating all types of forklifts and a
60,000lb boom lift truck.

Operator V Mold Setter
Perform mold/tool changes, as per production
schedule, on hot and cold runner molds, from 1 to 8
cavities. Use hoists, cranes, or 40/60k# Versi-Lift
boom truck, to set or remove molds, that range from
500 to 52000 pounds. Perform complex setups on
mold/tool and automated systems such as, Robotics,
Cynpress gas injection, external hydraulics, water
thermo, negative water pressure Logic units, mold
heat controllers, and hydraulic and pneumatic gate
control units. Load injection machine control
specifications as per mold tech setup sheets on Van
dorn, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Cincinnati Milacron and
LG GoldStar, sizes from 500t to 2000t machines.
Use problem solving and troubleshooting skills for
problems arising during setup, and the use of
excellent interpersonal communications with peers,
supervisors and other support groups to solve
extraordinary problems that arise, so as to keep
setup on schedule.
Assist mold shop mechanics on preventive
maintenance of molds. Disassemble, clean, grease
and reassembly of molds. Help with minor repairs,
Precheck of auxiliary parts of molds, and
replacement of limit switches, hydraulic hoses,
heater elements and anything else that would
prevent good and safe operation of mold.

Setup colorant for production changes, use of
liquid color counters, dry color premixers. Assure
that correct resin is hooked up to injection
molding machine as per bill of materials. Regrind
of unacceptable parts, recirculate to machines for
cost savings on use virgin resin, and scrap losses.
To assist process tech with minor clogs in machine.
Troubleshoot problems with color not being
delivered to machine properly. Precalculate
colorant to be delivered to machine as per a
formula and weight system. Some preventive
maintenance and repair on colorant counters and
premixing machines. Keep logs on machine settings
and other tasks preformed daily.

Operator II: Production operator lead, responsible
for proper assembly of parts, correct color and
unblemished part. Communicate with process tech,
QA, or supervisors of problems in production. Make
sure all materials for assembly of product is
available for workers to assemble product as per
bill of materials. Relieve workers for breaks. Keep
work areas safe and clean.
Operator: Assemble parts produced from the
injection-molding machine. Assure that part color
and part are acceptable for assembly. Use of air
driven screw guns, and staplers to aid in the
production process. Communicate with production
handler of any problems in production. Keep work
