As a Customer Care Representative, I was
responsible for processing inquiries from our
members regarding their health insurance coverage.
These inquiries may consist of: policy coverage,
investigating the status of claims, verifying
coverage for procedures from health care providers,
and eligibility for coverage. All customer contact
must be recorded in their files for future
reference. A good portion of my time was involved
in research and problem solving. I had to
communicate any and all information back to the
member in a professional and courteous manner, in a

Responsibilities included answering telephones,
