Programmer Analyst

Clayton Homes is a home building company that encompasses branches in

manufacturing, insurance and mortgage.

Responsibilities:

Have worked on several large projects, including Escrow Interest Tracking,

Claims Interest Tracking, and Tax Tracking. I developed these applications

from scratch.

Development was performed using PDM, Websphere, RDi, and recently RDp.

Coding is primarily in RPGLE Free. Have not had occasion to develop strict

ILE programs from scratch, but can code and debug ILE programs.

Am very familiar with SQL and embedded SQL, and often use embedded SQL in

lieu of Chains.

Currently using Aldon Change Management package.

Harrahs Entertainment

Dates of employment (Oct/1998 until Sep/2007)

Sr. Programmer Analyst

Harrahs Entertainment is the world's largest casino entertainment company.

Responsibilities:

Worked on many projects, including: Player Tracking cards (Total Rewards),

Data extraction projects due to sale of properties, Property Conversions to

Harrahs CMS, Disaster Recovery (migrated 7 iSeries boxes over to backup

boxes in an offsite location), IRS reporting (designed a system to store

pertinent IRS/Audit information on the iSeries prior to purge, and a method

to report the data as needed for audits).

Did new development for a while, and then moved to the support team where I

became a Sr P/A.

Development was performed using PDM, RPGII, RPGIII, CLP, Query/400, SQL.

Prepared technical specifications, test data and test scripts for

integration and QA. Performed code reviews on programs written by outside

contractors.

Previous work experience:

Trugreen/Chemlawn

Dates of employment ( 1993 until Jan/1998)

Trugreen/Chemlawn is a Lawn Care company.

Responsibilities:

Secured a job at the Trugreen Corporate Helpdesk in Memphis. Took support

calls over the phone and did troubleshooting. Later moved to the QA

Department and began testing production code.

Had previously done programming on an IBM System/34, and so began to

actively pursue programming on the AS/400, and became a staff programmer.

Development was done in PDM using RPGII, RPGIII, RPGIV, CL, Query/400.
