Provide confidence in integrity and reliability of pressure part and
production assets to clients across North America. Engineer for Central
Engineering and Technology group for Pulp and Paper Division. Primary
responsibilities include performing corrosion evaluations, service life
evaluations, condition assessments, and non-destructive testing on boilers
and other equipment associated with the Pulp & Paper and oil refining
industry, performing ASME minimum wall calculations for pressure vessels,
conducting failure analyses, supervising work during plant shutdowns,
developing trend analyses, writing inspection plans for work to be
performed during mill shutdowns, using AutoCAD to create inspection
drawings, documenting and photographing inspection results, and generating
inspection reports summarizing work performed, concerns identified, and
recommendations. Utilize visual and non-destructive methods to perform
QA/QC functions on welding and installation. Specific areas of expertise
include inspection of Power and Recovery Boilers, Continuous and Batch
