. Responsible for 12 plant division to include P & L, operating budget,

sales of $100 million, capital budgets of $500 thousand, and 1,800

employees.

. Developed budgets and managed plants with focus on driving down costs

and continuous plant improvement.

. Oversaw the startup of a $6 million farm implement account at the

Bucyrus, OH facility to include quoting, $400 thousand capital

equipment purchase, realignment of quality systems, plant layout and

material flow.

. Spearheaded purchasing negotiations resulting in reducing material

costs by $450 thousand that played a key role in the successful

retention of a major customer.

. Achieved or bettered all controllable budget items each year. This

due in part to implementation of weekly reporting of line item costs

to budget at each plant to monitor achievement to budget and to focus

attention to cost detail. In addition, I produced a monthly cost

comparison that resulted in corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence

of line item deviations to budget.

. Consolidated 12 plants into 4 due to customer movement of business to

Mexico and to improve profitability of domestic facilities. This was

achieved by moving $16 million into three plants while maintaining

delivery, quality and service to all customers. In addition, staffing

was reduced by 30% at remaining facilities.

. Key member of domestic and Mexican team formed to transition $35

million of product from domestic facilities to two company-owned

plants in Mexico. My duties included the coordination of domestic

facilities, equipment transition of approximately $1.5 million, and

product movement all to coincide with plant closings.

. Implemented gain sharing program at four facilities that resulted in

part to division efficiency improving from 85% to 94% resulting in

$132 thousand annualized labor savings.
