Yuba Sutter Veterinary Hospital . 03/2009 - Present

Receptionist - I am responsible for daily operations of the hospital

under supervision of the general manger. I am also responsible for

greeting clients as they bring in their animals. As well as checking

clients out as they leave after appointment, answering telephones,

scheduling appointments, filing and cleaning throughout the day. I am also

responsible for ensuring charges are entered into accounts and collecting

monies due for services before clients leave the office. Strong customer

service skills are necessary in this position.

Medical Biller - I was responsible for all patient and insurance A/R for

the office. This included coding, billing and collecting monies due. I was

also responsible for physician credentialing for insurance companies.

Aside from my billing duties I was a fill in for the front desk

receptionist when needed. This position required good customer service

skills as I am greeting patients and answering telephone calls throughout

the day.

Patient Advisor - I assisted the physicians and physicians' assistants

with cosmetic consultations. I advised patients on procedures such as;

liposuction, laser resurfacing, wrinkle fillers, etc. It was my

responsibility to ensure the patient was aware of fees, payment policies

and procedure requirements. I was also responsible for advising patients

on products for skin care as well as collecting all payments for products

and procedures. Good customer service skills were a requirement for this

position as I was answering questions for patients either by telephone or

in person daily. Aside from my patient advising duties I was also

responsible for credentialing for the 3 physicians and 4 physicians'

assistants in the office as well as all collection processes. My

collections duties included all correspondence to patients and to

collection agencies regarding past due balances.

Office Manager/Bookkeeper - I was responsible for all A/R, A/P, payroll

and correspondence. I was also responsible for filing, record keeping,

incoming calls and dispatch with one employee directly under my

supervision.

Food Service Worker - I was responsible for opening and closing

restaurant, drive thru window, food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and

customer service.

I am proficient in Microsoft Word and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel. I

fast learner and a self starter. I feel the skills I have acquired over

the years can

be an asset to any employer. I pride myself in being a loyal, hardworking
