As an extern at the clinic, and a medical assistant student: Accompany patients to rooms to obtain patient vitals as well as medical
history, medication list, and confirm chief complaint. Set up for various procedures (including sterile) and assist doctor during the
procedure. These procedures include cystoscopy and prostate biopsy. Prepare, clean, and stock patient rooms as well as various misc
activities as directed by the department nurse.
