In response to your needs of a Purchasing/ Buyer or Warehouse worker,
please
accept this letter in application for the open
position currently available within your company.
I do have over ten years of Purchasing experience with an
increasing level of responsibility. My experience encompasses a
wide array of products and industries, including: U.S. Army Food Service
Specialist; fasteners, seals, gaskets, aerospace, chemicals, steel, paint,
trucking, packaging, construction, heavy off road construction parts,
maintenance, janitorial and office supplies.
I entered each industry with no prior experience or knowledge,
but quickly learned and excelled in each company. With my
previous employer as a Purchasing Manager at Greif Bros. Corp., a
steel drum manufacturer. I was able to reduce costs by
researching and testing a yellow paint that required only one
coat, rather than the two coats previously used. This produced a
significant savings in corporate paint cost as well as
production time. In every company I strive to locate vendors who
can provide a quality product at the lowest possible cost.
In addition to my Purchasing experience I have excellent
interpersonal skills, allowing me to communicate effectively with
vendors and co-workers. I am also very dependable and well
organized, which helps me embrace changes in the work place.
From my resume, you can see that my experience and skills make me
a strong candidate for this position.
Thank you for taking the time to review my resume. I hope to be
considered for the Purchasing/ Buyer or Warehouse worker position for your
company,
and would look forward to an interview.
Respectfully yours,
Steven W. Bielak
