PRODUCTION PLANNER

Order 175+ parts for multiple production lines, maintaining 3 to 5 days of

safety stock. Duties include placing monthly orders and 20 week forecasts

to 20+ suppliers. Weekly monitoring of on hand inventories to assure any

fluctuation in demand has been accounted for and is available. Help with

physical inventory twice a year and month end requirements. Handle product

changes and end of production planning with suppliers and customers.

. Developed a new ordering process for foreign supplier to make days on

hand calculation more accurate and flexible.

. Worked to transfer 20+ suppliers to a specific label design to

eliminate waste and improve accuracy in the receiving process.

. Solved over 15 inventory discrepancies at the last physical inventory.

. Took over 15 suppliers from another planner during a medical leave.
