Was appointed by the Governor of Vermont t o serve on the State Appraisal Board; as

V ice Chair, collaborated with board members and enacted a mandatory Trainee Appraiser

and Supervisor Appraiser course; disciplinary actions dropped by 20% the following year.

Was appointed by the Governor of Vermont to the S tate Tax Appeals Board –

collaboratively resolved many complex property tax appeals including scenarios for an

E lectric Power Plant and a Ski Resort.

Played a v ital role i n collaborating with all affected parties and key leaders in the NC State

Legislature, to craft bi-partisan and all-inclusive legislation approving the regulation of Appraisal

M anagement Companies (AMC’s) in N C. The new Bill was signed in to law by Governor

P urdue on 07/22/2010.
