Vice President of Operations
Doubled revenue and margin over a 3 year period. Took service division
from loss to 9% net profit in 12 months. Utilized lean tools to
streamline preconstruction activities, enabling the Project Management
team to shrink during a time of revenue growth.
Esselte, Buena Park, California 2005

Director of West Coast Operations
P&L responsibility for a 900 person Mexican manufacturing operation, a
150 person US manufacturing operation, and a 30 person US distribution
center. Improved customer fill rates from 70% to 98.5% while reducing
headcount by 15%. Created new Classifolder cell that increased
productivity 40% while reducing wip 95%. Design and start up 2nd
Mexican plant to support East Coast and Midwest customer demand.

P&L responsibility for a 290 person, three shift manufacturing operation
and a 50 person, three shift distribution center. Managerial oversight
of plants in China, Canada, and Poland. Added distribution center
responsibility after taking over failing warehouse automation project and
bringing automation online, reducing warehouse workforce by 65%. Led
Lean Enterprise transformation in the Manufacturing and Distribution
