For the past 25 years I have worked primarily in the Aerospace Industry
which in part covers Jet engine cases, compressor blades, fan blades,
blisks, IBR's, vanes, stators and carbon fiber components for aircraft
bodies. I also have Marine and automotive exp..
Experience includes the following:

Adamaircraft Industries:
. Improved run time, quality and programming techniques of very large
tools and tool masters i.e. foam molds to manufacture tool laminates
that are used to lay up
Carbon fiber parts to build aircrafts. Automated CNC trim and drill
operations of carbon fiber components and designed tools and tool
masters.
. Streamlined the production of parts, tools and molds for the
manufacture of the A500 Twin engine inline thrust aircraft and A700
twin engine jet. Responsible for CNC operations in Pueblo and
Englewood Colorado. I worked remote from my home base in Ohio.
Designed tools and tool masters.
HEICO Inc/LPI Corp.:
. Reviewed specifications and had two (2) ECM (electro-chemical
machines)
built for airfoil production for jet engines.
. Designed and was responsible for a fully automated, state of the art,
electrolyte system for the manufacture airfoils.
. Developed and produced numerous stages of compressor blades for Jet
Avion for PMA.
. Designed tooling, generated NC programs and managed the manufacture of
tooling and airfoil manufacturing processes.
Sermatech-Lehr:
. ECM (electrochemical machining)
. Participated in the USAF/P&W Man-tech study.
. Designed and manufactured tooling and developed stages 4-9 compressor
rotors, IBR's using ECM in R&D for the F119 P&W engine.
. Designed tooling and developed stages 13, 14 and 15 compressor blades,
stages 13, 14 and 15 Nastar and Super Nastar for the P&W 4000 engines
for Samsung Aerospace using ECM.
. Designed and developed stages 4, 5, 6 and 7 F100 vanes for Samsung
Aerospace
using ECM.
. Worked at Samsung Aerospace in S. Korea for 1 and years installing
an ECM facility. Designed tooling and developed fan blades and
various stages of compressor blades for the F100-229 engine for the
F16 Korean Fighter program. Also trained the appropriate Samsung
personnel in design, development and production techniques.
. While in S. Korea, served as the Customer Service Representative for
Lehr servicing S. Korea, Japan and Singapore.
. Designed tooling and developed stages 5, 6, 7 and IGV, both straight
and bowed vanes, for the P&W4000 engine for Singapore Aerospace. Using
ECM.
. Developed bowed vanes of Alloy C for the F119 engine for P&W.
Collected and compiled data over a ten-month period on the subject of
trailing edge radius blue print requirements. Went to P&W in East
Hartford, Conn. to give a presentation of why it should be a trailing
edge profile and not a radius. P&W agreed with my findings and
changed the drawings for stages 5-15 compressor blades across the
board for all P&W4000 engine types.
. Designed and manufactured tooling and developed stages 3, 4 and 5
Blisks for the YF120 GE engine. (R&D using ECM.)
. Designed and manufactured tooling and developed proto-type Ti-aluminum
blades for GE. (R&D using ECM.)
. Designed tooling and developed stages 9 & 10 compressor blades for the
CF34 engine for IHI. (Using ECM.)
. Developed stage 0 & 1 compressor blades for EGT (European Gas Turban)
in France. (Using ECM)
. Designed tooling and developed stages 1-14 AE2100 engine and stages 1-
14 T56 for Rolls Royce Alison. Developed all 28 stages in one year.
(Using ECM.)
